Johannesburg- Ambitiouz Entertainment is known for signing artists who embrace their native languages, and now the label proves that crossing boarders to sign Lesotho-born rapper, Malome Vector was not a mistake because he has South African rappers feeling the heat and the fans eating of out if the palm of his hand.
With his debut single, Dumelang still doing amazing, Malome Vector releases his second single dubbed ‘Follow’ in which he basically calls himself a trendsetter and everyone follows him at whatever he does or wherever he goes. Malome Vector has done an amazing job penning down these lyrics, not dissing anyone but simply blowing his own horn, rightfully so. He does though say he does not need any fake love because he is the realest.
When he was introduced to SA, Malome Vector was had award-winning duo, Blaq Diamond along his side. He was also featured twice by Miss Pru, on Price to Pay and uHulumeni. This time around Tau ea Lesotho rides solo and demonstrates that he can kill bars and create a fire song even on his own.
On its release, Follow ran straight to occupy the number Hip Hop song spot on iTunes and the second spot on all genres. Fans took to social media to appreciate a job well done and to thank Ambitiouz Entertainment for being able to recognize talent. Now, Follow is on 32 thousand view on YouTube and is comfortable on iTune’s top charts. Malome Vector has both his tracks doing great on the charts with Dumelang music video on 1.9 Million views.
Malome Vector says in Follow that he is ready to drop an album and he is coming for SAMA awards. He has taken time to learn other languages since he now resides in South Africa, and we can hear him give a few lines in IsiZulu on Follow, which could potentially gain him even more fans.
Malome Vector is beyond ecstatic about the release and the love.
“I am excited about the release and I know that people will love this song because I worked very hard on it. I cannot wait for my fans to hear the sound and just have a taste of me doing it on my own. South Africa has shown me love since day one, and I am grateful for it all, I promise I will never disappoint,” says Malome Vector.
Be on the lookout because more from Malome Vector is still to Follow.
