29 January 2019, Johannesburg – Following the successful release of his single Thilili featuring
Maskandi heavyweight Imfezi Emnyama, the man with a calling finds himself doing the calling. In the first scene, we are introduced to a troubled Kraizie, wallowing in self-pity. His friend can no longer take the wallowing, he takes his hand, and this is where the journey begins.
He keeps calling but no answer, he leaves a gazillion missed calls, but she still does not get back to him. His world shuts down! Everything comes to a standstill as he and his friend, Imfezi Emyama go around the township looking for the love of his life who he refers to as “umaqondana”.
This video takes us on a journey as we watch with much anticipation Kraizie persistently trying to get hold of his love, does he find her?
This radio-friendly single is produced by Dr. Bafana and the authentic, relatable visuals are shot by Ambitiouz Visuals.
What initially came as a shock to his fans that beyond the Trap culture, he is deeply rooted in his African traditional ways. This versatility is what Kraizie’s fans love him for. Explaining the video, the man himself said: “The video has a hidden message, if you look deeper this journey begins when Imfezi takes my hand, this signifies that sometimes all we need is for someone to reach over and help us on our journey. We achieve more when we do it together; it always goes back to our roots of UBUNTU. This also shines the light on the start of my musical journey with Imfezi Emnyama.”
